2008 ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Dear Elvis fans,

It somehow seemed appropriate to write you today, Elvis Presley's 73rd Birthday (January 8, 1935), that we're just all shook up that we will not be holding the annual Elvis Birthday Dance Party this year. We did not receive confirmation early enough that Chick Hall's Surf Club (which has been sold) would still be available in January, 2008. This left us with little time for advance planning and production for the party. However, we DO plan to produce the Elvis Birthday Dance Party in January 2009 in the Washington/Baltimore area. We'll be investigating venues to see if we can find a suitable site for next year. Please don't hesitate to suggest a place if you think it will accommodate the festivities (a stage, dance floor, bar and capacity for 300+ are preferred). Continue to check in with www.SmouseProductions.com for the latest information, and feel free to email us Ted@SmouseProductions.com with any questions. We sincerely regret we couldn't host the party for The King this year and want to send a big hunk o' love to everyone who has been attending over the years for joining in the fun and helping to make the parties such a blast. So, don't be crying in the chapel, instead, enjoy The Tao of Elvis: Top 10 Elvis Presley Quotes (courtesy of Shoutmouth.com) listed below. And don't forget to raise a toast to The King!

TCB,

Ted & Susan
