Surfin' With The King, a dance party to celebrate the King's 72nd Birthday, will be held at Chick Hall's Surf Club in Bladensburg, Maryland, on Saturday, January 6, 2007. This event follows in the footsteps of last year's "Elvis Resurrected" Dance Party at Chick Hall's Surf Club, and the "Aloha Elvis!" dance party, hosted on January 8, 2005 by the Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria, Virginia.

Doors open at 8:00 PM, admission is $15 at the door

Reverb Galaxy will open the show and The Hula Monsters will perform three sets.

Contests, with prizes awarded, will be part of the evening's festivities. This includes a contest for the "Most Elvis Man" and the "Most Elvis Woman."

There will be a birthday cake for the King!

Attendees are encouraged to dress in the "Elvis Way!"

Chick Hall's Surf Club is located at 4711 Kenilworth Avenue in Bladensburg, Maryland; about one-half mile south of East-West Highway/Rt. 410. Look for the cinderblock building ringed with colored lights. The Elvis Resurrected banner hangs on the building facing the road.

Parking is available in the club parking lot, overflow onto side streets and Kenilworth Avenue.
